Accountability is a crucial part of any organization, including in the state-federal vocational rehabilitation agencies. It is important for each agency to monitor how they use their resources and whether their services meet the needs of consumers and the federal performance standards. Also, it is needed to evaluate the effectiveness of each program implemented, which can be used to improve their services and plan for the future services.
This webinar provides an overview of program evaluation and quality assurance to state VR agency staff. It includes definitions, key elements, and process of program evaluation and quality assurance. Further, the presenter will describe a collaborative program evaluation project, Project Excellence, and discuss the process, benefits, and lessons learned.
