Using Data to Improve Order of Selection Decisions

Session Details

A large number of state VR agencies are dealing with the realities of Order of Selection. This presentation will explore ways agencies can use data to evaluate and implement decisions related to Order of Selection such as: when to initiate Order of Selection, when to close categories, when should participants be released from closed categories, and how many people should be removed from wait lists.

Learning Objectives

  • Vocational Rehabilitation leadership will gain new understandings that will help them make data driven decisions related to Order of Selection.
  • Vocational Rehabilitation leadership will learn about data models that inform them about organizational patterns and data realities that impact Order of Selection management decision.
  • Vocational Rehabilitation analytics staff will learn ways to help support agency executive leadership.
